Lube a Luba

YOUTH GROUP EVENT
Due to erratic youth event activity, the college and career group has called for an intense and vigorous youth gathering, effective immediately. On Sunday, June 24, at 4:30, come to the Gleason's house prepared with a set of to-be-soiled (old) clothing and $3, we would encourage you to bring your parent(s), or guardian if you would prefer some form of body-guard kind of person for a wild type of event like this.

Sunday June 24, 4:30-9:00
Outdoor Games (which of course some have to do with certain objects in these pictures.......but probably not a cat), cookout and campfire.
Bring $3, old clothes, and your bibles and notebooks etc for the TAG groups afterwards.

AND THE WINNERS ARE!....the post-youth event summary

Runners up: Team 4: Andrew, Emily, Danielle, Cole
Biggest/Best Item: Wilson golf bag, complete with two clubs!

Third Place: Team 3: Tim, Kristina, Avery, Hannah
Biggest/Best Item: Pull-out couch

Second Place: Team 2: Stephane. Richard, Stephen, Bria
Biggest/Best Item: Couch

First Place: Team 1: Steven, Lorah, Laura, Cailen
Biggest/Best Item: 32'' Conehead Television

So how would you describe the last youth event? It's probably appropriate to say that we all gathered a LOT more than we sowed, to the misfortune of poor Mrs. Belvedere and the garbage men that have to deal with the aftermath. Other than a few weird looks, and a couple of shut-door-in-face incidents, the neighborhood didn't seem to mind the intrusion. Overall we did alright, for starting with a paper clip at least.
Now this is the part of the show where you, the youth, leave your comments, suggestions and general about the event, and inquiries as to how team 4 carried all their stuff. And for the parent to ask why their child brought home a dirty 16-year old mac, or a 32 inch tv.

Good show all!
Until next time....
